The HTC Vive Pro is a headset intended for business applications. As such, it improves on the aspects that made the first generation of Vive headsets successful by improving the visual fidelity, ergonomics, etc. That said, the headset is still using the lighthouse system, i.e., it requires outside-in tracking to function. We also have one HTC Vive Pro Eye headset which is identical to the HTC Vive Pro except it adds accurate eye tracking technology which allows to track the gaze of the user in the extended environment.
